JSC “Odessa Port Plant” passed accreditation at the Universal Commodity Exchange “Contract house” UICE”

UCE “Contract house “UICE” announced about the beginning of cooperation with one of the largest enterprises of chemical industry of Ukraine, and the largest industrial consumer of natural gas in Ukraine.

Open Joint Stock Company “Odessa Port Plant” (hereinafter OPP) has successfully passed accreditation at the Universal Commodity Exchange “Contract house “UICE” (hereinafter UICE) and have been admitted to trades on natural gas. UICE welcomes this important step of OPP management for the introduction of advanced methods of natural gas purchases and expects that the OPP will participate in the exchange trades on natural gas on a regular basis. Purchases of natural gas through the exchange trades are transparent mechanism that allows consumers to buy gas at the objective price formed at the market at the time of the transaction.

For reference: OPP specializes in the production of ammonia, urea, liquid nitrogen, carbon dioxide, liquid oxygen, sodium sulphate. It is also engaged in an overload of chemicals entering from CIS countries for export (a monopoly on the Ukrainian market for reception, cooling and transshipment of ammonia).
